6. Chocolate chips, nuts etc. should not be added to the mixture until the ice
cream has been stirred in the maker for at least 5 minutes, or until the
mixture is rm and has started to freeze.
7. The nal result is a smooth and creamy ice cream (it will not have the same
texture as manufactured ice cream).
8. If you keep the ice cream bowl in the freezer, it will always be ready for
making ice cream.
9. In order to get the best result, let the bowls freeze to -18°C.
10. Always switch on the appliance before pouring the ice cream mixture in the
ice cream bowls.
11. The texture of the ice cream depends on the chosen recipe, the room
temperature and the temperature of the ingredients.
12. Only use bowls that have been in the freezer for at least 18 hours.
13. Never heat the bowls.
14. Do not use a bowl if it has been damaged in any way.
Cleaning and maintenance
1. Always unplug before cleaning.
2. Lift the lid with the motor part off the outer housing by pressing the two
buttons on each side of the lid and at the same time lift the lid with the motor
part.
3. Loosen the mixer blade from the shaft by pushing the mixer blade straight
downwards. Loosen the shaft from the motor part by pushing it straight
downwards.
4. Remove the motor part from the lid by turning the lid upside down and
press the locking button on the motor part. Separate the motor part from
the lid.
5. Lift the ice cream bowls off the outer housing by holding on to the handle
ring around the bowls and lift them upwards. Separate the bowls from the
handle ring.
6. Wipe the motor part with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor part in
water or any other liquid and do not rinse it under running water.
7. Make sure that the bowls reach room temperature before cleaning. Clean
the inside of the bowls with water and a mild detergent. Never immerse the
entire bowls in water.
8. Clean the lid, the handle ring, the shaft and the mixer blade in warm water
and detergent and wipe thoroughly.
NOTE: Do not use scratching detergents or scouring sponges for cleaning.
